wingnut now understands where land and water are on a globe so we are moving on to continents. I follow a very creative homeschooling mom’s blog called Walk Beside Me and she made a pattern on Spoonflower to make your own continent globe. I ordered it when Spoonflower was having a sale and sewed it together. Wingnut loves it! I am glad I went this route instead of buying this continent globe because I am supporting a mother and not some big business. Also, it has more uses. We like to throw it back and forth and when we catch it we have to find a certain continent! Even if you do not use the Montessori method I highly recommend ordering the fabric and making one for your little one.
It was funny, making this globe brought back some childhood memories of a fabric globe very similar to this that we had as a children 🙂
